J. Culture – Cat Café

Cat cafés are popular in Japan. The first licensed cat cafe was called ” Cat’s Store猫の店 Neko no Mise” in Japan. The popularity of cat cafés is attributed to  apartments unfriendly cats, and providing them the friendship relaxing in what people want in their busy life. There are types of cat categories, such as black cats, fat cats, rare  breed cats or ex-stray cats.

The licensed cat cafés has many rules to ensure cleanliness, in particular to make sure that the cats are not disturbed by unwanted attention in apartments, like, sleeping. Many cat cafes often have cats from local homeless animal shelters to help them  for possible adoptions…………….hopefully. 🙂
